Advantagerous location

 

The SAMURRAY GmbH (LLC) will be founded with the headquarters in Wollerau (Switzerland) and an operational franchise in New York City.

This allows us a more efficient handling administration, liabilities and banking. It's also more convenient to employ the qualitative more skilled human recources from Europe.

 

 

                        DESIGNS/PATTERNS

 

 

Reduced to the maximum

 

Without any deadline pressures our team is constantly working on new elaborated pattern systems/designs.

 

Once a new pattern is finished it will be scanned in at Top Notch pattern grading marking located in the close area.

 

Since the patternwork is so refined, each style will be legally copyrighted.

                       FABRICS

 

 

Quality before quantity

 

Main fabrics:

 

I personally buy the highest quality fabrics at several leading fabric productions warehouse sales worldwide. Those 'end of the role fabrics' are in wholesale extremly expensive but are sold for a much lower price at their seminar sales. I already built up strong relationships with following companies

 

 

Special Artisanal collections

 

For some pieces I work together with known artists in a special procedure. (click here)

 

 

Linings and trimmings:

 

Silk and wool linings and trimmings complementing the main fabrics are purchased from the nearby fabric traders in the garment district (Moods, Ocean pacific trims...)

 

 

 

 

                      PRODUCTION

 

 

Flexibillity through local production

 

Once the style and the fabrics are chosen, the pattern will be printed out and produced (cut and sewn) at the production company WS Happy Trading INC which is located right next to Top Notch. They make the garments within 3 working days and both produced several pieces for me in the past (for pictures please click here).

 

As a midterm/long term solution we prefer to hire our own in-house seamstresses to guarantee even more flexibility.

 

 

 

                       SALES

 

 

Customer is queen throgh a refined logistic system

 

 

Private customers:

 

For each customer a private appointment will be arranged at the showroom.

 

Every garment is presented in a deep purple/neutral fabric according to the style.

 

While looking and trying on choices, individual fabric possibilities will be adviced and discussed.

 

Once the choice of fabric and style is decided it will take one week to have the garments produced and delivered on branded hangers in branded garment bags to any NYC address.  

 

Besides the personal orders several pieces like individual t-shirt dresses, cloud capes, shorts and necklaces are available in the showroom to buy immediately.

 

The team already has a list of potential customers adding to the ones that have bought from my collection before. 

 

 

Boutiques/wholesale:

 

Whole collections are available for boutiques. Once a boutique has placed their seasonal wholesale orders for the new season from their designers SARO can produce a tailored to shop look limited collection. Those collections can be produced within 30 days.

 

The team already in communications with stores that are interested in this concept.

 

 

 

                      PRESS

 

 

Create a cache

 

High end news papers are allowed to write about concept and showroom. They can explain the idea about the concept, describe the exclusive one-of-a-kind collection and its price point.

 

Some pieces, especially the artisanal ones, will be offered to charity events.

 

 

 

                   TRUNK SHOWS

 


Intimity

 

Potential trunk shows can be held in any metropol worldwide: New York, LA, Zurich, Moscow, Abu Dabi… Those can  happen at any time of the year as we’re not bent to whole sale fashion schedules. Ideal show dates could be before Christmas or holidays.

 

The idea is to rent a show space (or get one (yours?) offered as promotion for the venue) and find an appropriate theme for the destination.

Within this theme a tailored collection will be created.

 

Working with local selling assistants and personal shoppers a selected audience of around 40 potential customers will be invited.

At the show only the customers will be invited for their privacy and as part of the press strategy.

Portrait pictures for the press can be taken outside the venue before or after the show.

 

For the following 5 days we will rent a suite or house (can be part of a potential venues promotion). With the showpieces and fabrics we will hold private appointments and take personal orders.

 

Those orders will be produced and sent within 30 days.

 

We can potentially work with sponsorships which work with the same target customer  to supply extra costs.
